• It includes an integrated TEC controller.
• A special thermal interface is included which do not require any thermal grease.

• Current Set-Point Resolution (@ 200 mA Set-Point): 0.05 mA
• Output Voltage Maximum: 4.8 V (up to 10 V optional or up to 18 V with the new HP2 laser driver version)
• The user can set 4 starting modes (OEM mode, previous settings mode (laser diode at 0 mA),  etc.).
• The product is normally used with a GUI software, but can be set to be used with no computer
• USB, manual & analog (0-5 V) power adjustment

 

Applications of this laser diode driver includes non-destructive control, laser seeding etc.

• Software libraries are available for all products (LabVIEW, Python (windows/Linux), DLLs etc.).

• A stand-alone, Auto-start mode for OEM integration and systems applications.

 

The integrated laser diode protection circuits protect your device under test at all times. A user set the current limit and a special temperature protection clamp both the bias current and the operating temperature. A soft-start current ramp protects the laser from the possibility of thermal shock or current surges. A special starting mode is available to avoid the need of using a computer for photonics system integration.
