High Gray Track Resistant (HGTR) KTP for SHG
Raicol’s flux-grown HGTR KTP crystals have gray track resistance significantly higher than flux-grown KTP. These HGTR KTP crystals are suitable for high power density applications, where regular flux-grown KTP crystals will suffer from gray track damage.
Used for SHG (Second Harmonic Generation) combines the benefits of HGTR KTP of a higher gray track resistance with converting the laser pumping wavelength into it’s second harmonic whereby generating a new wavelength that is half of the input wavelength or double frequency.
