New 12mm C-mount lens In collaboration with VS Technology we are proud to announce the launch of the world's first wide-angle liquid lens solution that covers high-resolution 1.1" sensors. The C-mount lens includes Optotune's tunable lens EL-16-40, which allows to change the focus over a large working distance range reliably within 20ms.
12mm focal length, F/2.8
Typical working distance: 250mm to infinity
Ideal for sensor formats up to 1.1" and pixels as small as 2.4um (e.g. IMX304 or IMX183)
The lens is particularly suited for applications in logistics including package sorting, box filling & palletizing. A detailed test report of the lens can be found here.
Navitar Zoom 6000 supports liquid lenses We're happy to see Navitar launch an autofocus module including Optotune's focus tunable lens EL-16-40. The Zoom 6000 is a modular platform, which can address a large range of magnifications, sensor sizes and now also large working distance ranges!
New lens driver for fast 3D laser processing The new DSD-2-O driver by SCAPS for the EL-10-42 laser processing z-axis solution is available now.
Facilitates integration with XY2-100 by separate USB calibration interface
Only one power supply
Bi-directional SCAPS or optional XY2-100 interface available
Together with the EL-10-42 lens enables fast 3D marking (up to 6 m/s)

Optotune develops and manufactures industry shaping active optical components that allow customers around the globe to innovate. Founded in 2008, we started out with our core technology of focus tunable lenses, which was inspired by the working principle of the human eye. Laser speckle reducers, 2D mirrors, tunable prisms and beam-shifting devices are further additions to our product lines. Thanks to our deep understanding of optics and mechanics and a passion for technology, Optotune is your ideal partner when it comes to solving challenges where conventional optics fail.
